Produced by Jeff “Ford” Thurston alongside Dave Barbe (Six Gun Sally band leader and drummer), Seth Cook and Matt Muckle, the musical collection boasts seven Six Gun Sally originals and four fan-favorite cover tunes. Spotlighting the prowess ofAimee Jane Williams on lead vocals backed by the extraordinary collaborative talents and musicianship of seasoned musicians and band members Allen Granus (lead guitar), Jeff Yeckel (lead and rhythm guitar), Dan Rach (keys), Stan Brusoski (bass), Billy G (percussion/drums) and Dave Barbe on drums, STAND UP beams with Six Gun Sally “LIVE” performance quality.
Featuring vampy up-tempos, stoked by driving drums and revved by rockin’ twangy guitar, STAND UP is a testament to Southern rock greats (Lynryd Skynrd/Black Crows/Heart/Marshall Tucker Band). The original songs (including the title track, “Backwards” and “Don’t Be Done”) celebrate liberation, the beauty of diversity and difference, unapologetic hillbilly pride, transitions, and a promise for change. Renditions of “Boys Of Summer” (Eagles), “Second Hand News” (Fleetwood Mac), “Drivn’ My Life Away” (Eddie Rabbit) and “Ophelia” (Levon Helm) honor the original recordings with gritty vocals, fiery instrumentation and Six Gun Sally signature sound.
As an early introduction to the STAND UP recording project, Six Gun Sally released the singles “Let’s Take A Ride,” “Fast Train” and “Backwards.” The tracks have enjoyed more than 386.5K cumulative Spotify streams to date.

ABOUT
A must-see, powerhouse of accomplished musicians and extraordinary vocalists, Six Gun Sally pays homage to the trendsetter bands of the 70s. The group of seven performs nearly 70 dates a year catering to audiences of all ages with a hankering for good ole southern and classic rock music (a la Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac) and smokin’ hot originals in the same vein.
In 2021, the band released its self-titled CD featuring 14 originals, including “Devil Made Me Do It,” “Sweet Long And Lean,” and the 2022 releases, “ “The Last Time” and “Let’s Take A Ride” amassing 150,00 Spotify streams combined.
