Neil Young has filed for divorce from Pegi Young, his wife of 36 years. According to Rolling Stone. Neil filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in July and a hearing is scheduled for December.
The couple first met at a restaurant where Pegi was a waitress, a story with Neil relayed in the 1992 song “Unknown Legend”. Pegi inspired several other love songs found in Neil’s catalog, including “Such a Woman” and “Once an Angel”.
