LAS VEGAS – March 9, 2015 – Multi-platinum rock band Alice In Chains will embark on a headlining U.S. summer tour with a visit to Las Vegas being the group’s second stop. The band will perform at The Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $53, plus any additional service fees and go on sale to the public on Friday, March 13 at noon.
News of the summer run follows the band’s recent halftime performance at the NFC Championship game and will be the first tour since the group’s 2013-2014 worldwide run in support of GRAMMY-nominated album The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, which entered “Billboard’s” Top 200 Chart at No. 2 and debuted at No. 1 on “Billboard’s” Alternative Albums Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, Hard Rock Albums Chart and iTunes Rock Album Chart. The album’s success was fueled by its first two singles, “Stone” and “Hollow,” which both hit No. 1 on the rock charts.
Over the course of their remarkable career, Alice In Chains (vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell, vocalist/guitarist William DuVall, drummer Sean Kinney and bassist Mike Inez) has garnered multiple GRAMMY nominations, sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and amassed a diehard international fanbase whose members number in the millions. Alice In Chains remain one of the most successful and influential American rock bands of all time.
In other news, the band’s Alice In Chains & Friends Fantasy Football League recently launched its 4th annual charity auction, partnering with Music For Relief and MusiCares. Proceeds from the auction will help Music For Relief provide protective gear and training for health workers dealing with the Ebola epidemic as part of the Ebola Prevention initiative, and the health and human services programs of MusiCares.
