Diplo unveils “Two Steppin’” featuring Adrien Nunez, out today on Atlantic Outpost

Grammy-winning artist, producer and DJ Diplo returns with his first country release since 2025, joining forces with rising country star Adrien Nunez for a new single “Two Steppin,’” out today via Atlantic Outpost—listen here.

“Adrien and I knew we made something special with this track,” says Diplo. “It was only right that we debuted it at Stagecoach — it’s the biggest party in country music, there’s no place like it. Stoked to have my first release with Atlantic Outpost; I’m looking forward to lots more great country music with them.”

“I’m really excited for this song, it’s one of those that just feels fun from the first listen,” adds Nunez. “I’ve always loved music that makes people want to move and blending that country energy with dance music felt like the perfect way to create something wild, upbeat and made for a good time.”

Over the weekend, Diplo and Nunez debuted “Two Steppin’” during Diplo’s electrifying close-out Stagecoach performance to a massive crowd of over 65,000. 2026 marks Diplo’s sixth Stagecoach performance and fourth iteration of Diplo’s HonkyTonk, his own curated stage with a lineup of artists across genres. The tent saw appearances and performances from a host of friends including Sydney Sweeney, Waka Flocka, Stella Lefty, Juicy J, Theo Von and Caleb Pressley. Throughout the weekend, Diplo also teased new music with breakout country artist Cameron Whitcomb.

“Two Steppin’” marks Diplo’s highly anticipated first country release since 2025’s “Ashes” with Bailey Zimmerman. The Tupelo, MS by way of Daytona, FL native has put out two full length country albums: 2020’s Platinum-certified Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley, Chapter 1 — Snake Oil and 2023’s Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 — Swamp Savant, and the 2024 mixtape Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape to widespread acclaim. A lifelong fan of the genre, Diplo has collaborated with country icons including Sturgill Simpson (Johnny Blue Skies), Thomas Rhett, Sierra Ferrell, Maren Morris, Paul Cauthen and several others across the three projects. His single “Heartless” with Morgan Wallen is a hit the world over, gaining billions of streams and recently reaching RIAA Diamond certification.

Stagecoach continues a world-dominating year for Diplo, who returned to the Coachella main stage with Major Lazer in April for giant, career-spanning performance to over 80,000 fans. In March, Diplo executive produced BTS’ highly anticipated comeback album, ARIRANG, alongside longtime BTS collaborator Pdogg and personally produced five tracks—the most producer credits of anyone on the project. Diplo recently unveiled a massive 2026-2027 season of Diplo’s Run Club with nine cities across America. Diplo’s Run Club takes runners on a 5K through urban centers, followed by a mini music festival featuring performances from Diplo and friends.
