MUSICARES® AND THE GRAMMY FOUNDATION® REELECT BOARD LEADERSHIP AND GRAMMY FOUNDATION ADDS RBC’S MICHAL KATZ AS NEW BOARD MEMBER
Santa Monica, Calif. (Aug. 11, 2015) — The GRAMMY Foundation® — one of the two affiliated charities of The Recording Academy® — re-elected Chair Tim Bucher, Silicon Valley entrepreneur and CEO of Lyve Minds Inc.; Vice Chair Geoff Cottrill, chief marketing officer of Converse; Secretary/Treasurer Rachna Bhasin, senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development at SiriusXM; and Chair Emeritus Rusty Rueff, venture startup investor and advisor.
For the MusiCares Foundation®, the Board leadership was also reelected with Chair Bill Silva, president, Bill Silva Entertainment; Vice Chair Alexandra Patsavas, owner of Chop Shop Music Supervision; and Secretary/Treasurer Arnie Herrmann, CPA, partner at Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP. Scott Pascucci, CEO, Concord Bicycle Music, is the MusiCares Foundation Chair Emeritus.
The GRAMMY Foundation announced that its Board elected Michal Katz as a new member. Katz is a co-head of the Technology Investment Banking Group at RBC. She advises leading technology companies on diverse financing and strategic advisory transactions including equity and debt financings, leveraged buyouts and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she engages with leading private equity and venture capital firms.
